Evening all,
It's one of our "old" (in all ways.....) friend's birthday in a few days, and dave asks me for a card. I have decided to use a new stamp I just bought, from Kenny K. I was wishing to find a "Chippendale" sort of man, but couldn't find one, so I have been "seduced" by "Frankie Knuckles", and have decided to stay simple. Hopefully, she has a very good sense of humour.... And that young boy looks very 30th.....
I have coloured "him" with my Spectrum noir and cut it with my Spellbinders. I than add some blue mirri-board and put it to a cream card. I just add a plain sentiment.
I will enter my card in the following challenges :
2 sisters challenge : Bring on the Boys
Totally Gorjuss : something New
And Kenny K's Krafty, where there is a DT call, and I will enter it on that purpose.
So wish me good luck....!!!!

Birthday card with a sentiment on the front
Good afternoon on that stunning sunny sunday. I really don't know where the week has gone.....But it's Sunday again, which means it's time for a new challenge at IDIC, and this week we are wishing to see a birthday card with the sentiment on the front.
Our sponsor this week is Inked Treasures, and the price is 3 digi stamps of your choice.
I have coloured "Ellie the Elephant" with my Spectrum Noir in a purple and pink shade, and have cut my digi with my "Grand Big Scaloped" Dies from Spellbinders; I have used the same shape to cut a piece of pink Co'rdination paper, and the bigger one to shape my card.
For the sentiment, we are lucky enought to have one of our DT who create some sentiments, so have been on her blog, Desert Diva and find what I was looking for.
Here you can have a closer look at it, but please forgive me for my cutting.....Am hopeless cutting round.....
I add the sentiment on the side, it was supposed to match the round of my shaped card.....Lol!!!! Really hopeless....
I will enter my card in the following challenges :
Creative Inspirations : Anything goes
Penny's Paper-crafty Challenge : Anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge : Shape it
Totally Paper Crafts : Animals
Aud Sentiments Challenge : Any sentiment
Lili's Little Fairies : Anything but a square

Anything Goes at Robyn's Fetish
Good afternoon,
What an awful weather here.....It looks like end of September....!!!! At home with Mathilde, with the fire on, watching TV....very exited Sunday.....That also means that it's time for a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish. This week, we're having an easy one.....Anything Goes. And our sponsor is Robyn's herself. The winner will be able to choose 3 digis from Robyn's shop;
I made my card by cutting the edge of it with "Persian Accent" from Spellbinders. I add some yellow and green buttons.
The name of the Digi i have used is 5 Little Froggies, that I have coloured with my Spectrum noir. I have than cut it with my Spellbinders and glued it on a piece of green card. I put it on a piece of scrapbooking paper I had in my paper box. I have than used a contrasted piece of scrapbooking paper to make my buckle. I put in it a nice piece of ribbon, I bought at the NEC last year.
I have finished my card with a sentiment, as I need to "thanks" friends who invited us for a party next month. What a perfect occasion to use my card.....
Mathilde really likes the stamp, and here is the version of the card she made.
So here are two versions with the same stamp.....I let you choose with one you "prefer".....Lol!!!!! and leave a few comments......

Paper Piecing
Good afternoon to all of you,
It's a very sunny Sunday here in France and it's also time for a new challenge at IDIC. And this week we are sponsored by Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps. The winner will be able to choose 5 Digi stamps from the store.
This week it has been a new one for me....We have to do "Paper piecing". My first reaction was "Quezaco????" (meaning what is that.) Hopefully Susan our stunning "DT Chef" gave us a few site to go and look at and Christine in her "CHRISTINE'S AWESOME FRIDAY." gave us a tutorial..... But it still took me nearly all afternoon to make my card.
I cut my card with my "Label 21" from Spellbinders, than I cut my digi stamp with a smallest Die. I first colour my "mouse" with my Spectrum Noir in the following tone : WG 0,5 and WG 1. After I begin the "best" bit....Cutting the different pieces....You defo need very good scissors....
Here a closer look at it. The section I have paper pieced are, the leaves and the pod with 2 different green and the flower with some purple paper. And "just" that took me all afternoon.....!!!!! Ok, I probably shouldn't say it....But for my first attempt, I am proud of what I have created.
Hope you will find time and have fun making a card to share with us.
Happy crafting!!!!

Back !!!!
Hi all,
Am back from all my different trips and back to the land of blogs..... Have been to my house yesterday afternoon and been a busy bee.....Lol!!!
After working a bit in the garden, I have crafted a bit. I begin a new frame that I have on order and after made a few cards, with Mathilde's help. yes, she is home as her grand-mother (dad's side) has just died and she is at the funeral this morning. I am on my way to pick her up in a few minutes. Even in those circumstances, we manage to make some "happy" cards.
I have used an image from Joanna Sheen, that I put on mirri board paper. I than take some white paper that I have embossed with my Spellbinders and just had a sentiment which means "Happy Day" as it is soon Mothers day here in France.
I will enter my card in the following challenges:
DYSU : Flowers
2 Sisters Challenge : Anything Goes

Buttons, Blue And A Bow, Too!
Good afternoon to all of you,
Sorry am late to post this week, but we are just back from Dave's daughter's wedding. I have tried to post on sunday but couldn't get a connection in any of our hotels..... How bad is that???
Anyway am back to "normal" life. Had a gorgeous time in Tunisia, with 28°C every day, but rather not talk re. the wedding. The hotel was gorgeous, Julie and Ray absolutely fabulous but that's about it.... The weather was not with us neither, especially on the ceremony and just before (storming and very cold).
Anyway, I bet that you've all been to Robyn's Fetish Challenge and know that our sponsor this week is floppy latte designs and that you can win a $10 voucher from her shop.
Here is my version. I have coloured my digi with my spectrum Noir, then cut it with my "new" Spellbinders . I glue it on a white card that I have fist "coloured" with some ink (which I can't remember the name.....Lol!!!!). I have finished my card with 2 small buttons and a bigger one, opposite to my bow.
I have add a button on the bit that is used to turn to open the box (Has anyone understood what I am meaning????? Not sure myself.....Lol!!!)
Can't wait to see what you will come up with.
