Dave has gone away, and I am waiting for my daughter to come so we can go to the nice town of Saumur to the market and look for a job for her. The sun is coming out, so we should enjoy it while it last.....
I made my card a few days ago, and didn't have a minute to write my post. So today is the day....
I have used the rose that we got a few month ago being in the Club and I painted it with water colour.
For the backing "bit" I have used an old print from my Gelli plate where you can see butterflies. I thought it would be nice with the rose.
I have used my Letter set to write my sentiment, which is the 1st verse of a poem from Ronsard (French poet from "La Pléiade", XIVe century), and that I have always loved.
I have put it on a piece of light yellow card, before I put it all on a white card.
I will enter my card in the following challenge:
Clarity Stamp Challenge : It's All About The Words
Thanks for poping in and for the comments you will leave. They are much appreciated.
A very pretty card. Wish you daughter good luck from us on her job hunt. Thanks for entering the challenge and good luck.
