40° outside

Hello everybody,

It is so warm here, it is unbelievable. I spent most of the afternoon in my office with Mathilde and we made a few cards.

Here the one I will enter in a challenge:
I have used JS "Royal Horticultural Society" as backing paper and match it with toppers. I can't think of a better cd for find "Mixed Bouquet". I add a fancy silver square and a pink one to finish the card. No sentiment up till now as I don't know to whom it will be.

I enter my card in CD Sunday challenge, it is the last one for a while as I am going on holidays friday and will only be back on the 15th July.

Hope you all like it, and see you soon again.

RED

I had so much fun creating the following card.
How can you use something when you don't have it??????Just using your imagination....Lol!!!
For Kenny K, we need to"Check it out"....I have then decided to create my own check paper, with lovely pattern black paper I bought at the NEC and some white, which was pre-cut. I have used "Lady Raven" and have coloured it with my Promarkers and Sakura pen.

And red, it goes so well with black and white that there was no question about using it.

I am entering it in

http://scrappyfrogschallenge.blogspot.com/ : Simply Red

"Chinese"

Hello again,

Have decided to go a bit "Chinese" for the two next challenges.  It was easy in a way as I love everything chinese: food, drawings, backing papers, stamps, etc....

I have used Johanna Sheen CD, "Oriental dream" for the card. I have print one of the "flowers and birds" backing paper but have used it on a card, instead of a classic backing paper.

On the top I put a lovely "silhouette" I bought ages ago. I add some tassels....But don't have a lot of choice as, you might not believe that one....., I don't have any tassels. Please don't laught....Lol!!!!
I have finished my card with some sentiment and 2 gems to have a nice finish.
I enter my card in

Hope you like my Chinese version....

Working Tuesday

Didn't feel up too much this afternoon, as been up very early this morning to take Mathilde to Saumur for her exam at 8.00 (french time...of course....Lol!!!) so after I tried to have a rest, which I haven't manage, I have decided to go in my craft room and see if my mojo was with me.... And I am so surprised what tiredness can do.....I made a few cards. It was "as well" as I finally have to go to work tomorrow instead of Thursday.

I have orders for friends for birthday, which I haven't done yet, but also for wedding as it is the time of the year here again. And as we say: "rainy wedding, happy wedding"......So I bet there will a few happy couple in future with all the rain we have since a few days....Lol!!!!

I have used a sketch I saw a few weeks ago, with some scap paper, coord'ination pink paper and some purple one I bought at the NEC. I have used a digi from May Brits, who I find very creative. I have coloured them with sakura pens, Promarkers and some chalks for her dress.

I enter the card in the following challenges:
http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ : Anything goes
http://prairiefairyfridays.blogspot.com/ :  Wedding
http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/ : Something with Pretty Papers

And now am off to go and feed the cats at Dave's house, the mum and 3 little cutties....

Busy monday

Good afternoon to all of you.

Dave is the sun, Mathilde relaxing after she's done the french part of her O level this morning, so I have decided to create a few cards.

The first one is (and sorry for my fingers....) :
I have used a few flowers and a sentiment on a shaped card with backing paper...And that's it....That's why I decided to enter that card for Keep it Clean and Simple challenge. It is the simpliest card I can make....Everything I have used on the card are "old" things I found in one of my box. The sentiment is a stamp and  have embossed it with purple embossing powder.  Although the card is cream, I have used my favorite colour for the backing paper....BLACK

I have also decided to enter my card in the following challenges:
http://craftypurplefrogchallenges.blogspot.com/ : What is your favorite things?
http://challengeupyourlife.blogspot.com/ : Circles
http://emeraldfaeries.blogspot.com/ : Petals.

Bank holiday Monday

Afternoon to all. And another bank holiday here, had a great time with Dave this morning than been to work for a few hours and now back home with my daughter. Before I got the diner ready (mushrooms  and chicken risotto) I have come to show you my last creation....

When I read the subject of the challenge, I thought "Never".....But then, I had a second thought, and have a go at it. Have used a "clearly stamp" shoe, but have decided to put a bit of humor in it.....

I have used the leopard image from Jayne Netley Mayhew collection. I have used the first paper as a backing paper, the one with the animals and stamp the shoe on the second backing paper, the one with the "skin". I put the shoe on a "bed" of gold paper that I bought at the NEC in June.

I have entered the card in the following challenges :

CD Sunday Challenge : If the shoe Fits
Bearly Mine Challenge : Anything Goes.

Two others challenges

I begin this card last week but my mojo left me in the middle of doing it so I said to myself "wait and see"....And today, I have manage to finish it. Ok....I get some help.....From some blogs and challenges.

I made an easel card with Far Far Hill paper as my backing paper. As I haven't used it as yet, I have decided to use "my best friend" Swalk stamp, which I coloured with some Promarkers.
I put 3 different embellishments, 3 small white pearls on the left corner, a yellow bow on the right top corner and 2 rose beads on the golden paper.  I haven't put any sentiment as I don't know for which occasion or for whom I wish that card.

I have decided to enter the cards in 3 differents challenges.

2 Sisters Challenge : 3-2-1 challenge
Totally Gorjuss : Flower Power
Penny's Paper : Best Friends

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hello!

Hi from a rainy sunday here. I know....We need some but it's still depressing to have the impression to be end of september when we are in June.

My daughter is preparing her O level, so not to bother her I have been in my office to craft.....What a good excuse that was...Lol!!!!

I have used a House Mouse stamp that I have coloured with my Promarkers. I put it on a paper I found on a wonderful freebies site, Far Far Hill which has some gorgeous papers and pin-ups. All very vintage, but really worth a look at. I finally put a few beads as embellishment and have decided to enter it in the following challenges:

Creative Cowgirls Challenge : Summertime Fun
House Mouse-challenge : Adorn with jewels

Really in love with those two little cutties on the card....

New challenge

Hi everybody,

I made this card a few days ago, but had so many trouble with my computer that I have forgotten to take a picture....

For the back ground, I have used "Enchanted Dreams" CD from Johanna Sheen, and a sketch and a digi stamp from Digi With Attitude. The digi stamp is called "Bubblebath Tween", I have coloured it with my Promarkers and done the bubble only with "Spray and Sparkle" from Crafters companion.

For the sentiment, I have used one I have since ages....And is kept in a box.....So well that I keep forgetting about....Lol!!!

I will enter this card in : CD sunday challenge,  DYSU and Crafts and Me Challenge

Saturday afternoon

Last one for me today....

The weather has been wonderful here. After a bit of a "ride" for a coffee, we came back home. I first had a wonderful swim and sun bathing then decide to make a bit of colouring for future cards.

I have selected a "last" card for challenges.

I have used one of Sliekje stamp, which I have coloured with my Promarkers and Sakura pens. I put the digi on a scrap paper, which I have cut in a bit of a shape. I finally put a french "thank you" sentiment, as it looks so happy....I couldn't think of any other sentiment.

I tie a yellow bow, from Laura Ashley's collection.
To have the "curly" effect on the bow, I have used my embossing gun.

I enter this card for :
Ginger Loft Challenge : Tie a yellow ribbon
aly's sunday challenge : Cupcakes
The crazy challenge : Pets

Hope I find "fans" of my work...Lol!!!!

Orange

Hello, Me again....

You might not believe this, but one of the colour I dislike most is.....Orange.....Lol!!!!You will all wonder "Why???? has she decided to make a car with this colour?".....That was the question I asked myself. And finally....I had great fun making the following card.

I have cut my card (by hand...again as still dont have any Die Cut machine) using a shape I found well hidden in all my craft bits. I have then cut in smaller pieces some scrap paper I bought a while ago. After I was puzzled. What kind of digi could I use????And the only one for me was "All that" from Kenny K. I have used Sakura pens for her hat and Promarkers for her clothes, shoes and hair.

I Have decided to enter my cards in the two following challenges:

DYSU : Orange
Card Makin Mamas : Use your Scraps

And you know what? I think "orange" is growing in me.....Lol!!!

Been a good girl......

I have been very busy today, as Dave had to stay home waiting for deliveries, I have decided to go back to mine and "work" a bit. It was lovely in my office, the door was open and the sun was shining and warming me while was crafting.

I have done a few cards for friends and the shop where I now, finally....sell some. I have been inspired by some blogs so I decide to enter a few challenges.

The first card I made been inspired by the work of an artist I discover in  Free Digital stamps. Her name is  May Brit, and she draw cute Bears. I absolutely adore her work, and every time am pleased to colour and use her digi.
I have used some paper and a hedge cutter I bought ages ago. I have coloured this little cutty with some promarkers and Sakura pens. And I have decided to enter this card in the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations : Cute Bears/Animals Only
Polly Craft : Be my Teddy Bear
Scrappy Frogs Challenge : Happy B-day

Have a lovely day, it's again very sunny and warm  here
