Thank you !

Good afternoon from a very sunny France. A bit chilly, but dry and sunny. It's sunday again and time for a new challenge at I Did It Creations.

It's probably one of the best time of the year to thanks people, so that is what we wish to see this week: A "Thank You" card, challenge 86.
We have treated like queens again, and got a choice of stunning images from Stichy Bear. I have been lucky and was allowed to use a set of digi. I have used "Twilight" set and I have totally felt in love with it.

I have used 2 of the bookmarks in my creation. The first one as a "normal" image on the top of my card. I have coloured it with my Spectrum Noir and add the "thank you" sentiment on it.

The second one, also coloured with my Spectrum Noir, will be used as a "real" bookmark. i have coloured the "Twilight" with my Sakura Pens to give it a bit of glitter. The "pattern" of the card is one I have been shown by my friend Ellen at Crafters Companion on the "Live Crafting" evening.

I have a couple of friends who helped me with doing mathilde's bedroom, so the card is for them. And one of them reads a lot, so I know she will use the bookmark with pleasure.

For once again, I will enter my card in a few challenges.
First of all, I will enter it in : One Stitch at a Time : everything goes. It is the challenge blog of Stichy Bear....
I will also enter it in :
delightful sketches : Anything goes
the poodles parlour : Thank you

Hope you all have a nice sunday, and if you're poping in, do not hesitate to leave a comment. They are always welcome.

It begins to look......

Morning to all from a very grey day here in France today. What a change compare to yesterday when it was so sunny....

It's time for challenge n° 85 at I Did It Creation. We have received a funny digi from Gingerloft to play with. Poor him.....He seems to be in pain....Lol!!!!

"Toobig", it's its name has been coloured with my Spectrum Noir, as well as the cheminey and for the snow, beard and hat, I have used some glitter glue I have since ages. I have used my new Spellbinders, I bought at the NEC to make the card. And to finish it I had a sentiment and a little "topper" I bought a few days ago here in France.

We are out now to go to a wine tasting, it might finish to cure my bronchitus and warm us a bit....Lol!!!!

Have a nice sunday, whatever you're doing, and don't forget.....Comments are well appreciated...!!!!

Flower

Afternoon to all of you,

First of all, I would like to apologise. I am "proper poorly" and have forgotten, to post my card.....Hope you will all forgive me.

Anyway, here you are:
It is my first card as the new DT for I Did It Creations

Today it's the challenge 84 "Flowers", and I am so proud to have been able to use an image from Floppy Latte Designs. it is nice to use some flowers on that time of the year when everything is dead outside. The flower I have chosen, looks more a medallion and that's why I have decided to go for it.

I have coloured the flower with my "Sakura Pens", and have just used a bit of green from my Spectrum Noir. When I was at the NEC in November, I bought some candies and some ribbon.....And I couldn't resist using them.....(Lol).  I have made an easel card and leave the flower to talk by itself.

I can't wait to see all the creation you will show us on I Did It Creations challenge blog.

Have a nice day, and don't hesitate and leave a message when you "drop" in....

Winter Blog Hop time

Good evening to all of you.

It's a weird Sunday afternoon here; Sunny and grey on the same time, if that makes sense....And quite cold. It is the right time to craft really!!!! As you know it's Blog Hop time again at TLC. if you play your card right, you should end up with freebies.

Each of us had a picture to play with and we are very pleased to give it to you, when you come and visit us. If you're coming from Georgia you are at the right place. if you're coming from anywhere else, I would suggest you go back to TLC, and begin again.

Here is my version of the wonderful digi, I have received from Paulette.

I make my card simple as the digi is gorgeous on it's own.
For the lady, I have used my Spectrum noirs 74 and 72 for the skirt, 183 for the "cape" (sorry don't know the world in English....), 91 and 96 for the hairs and 33 or the present. The little girls has been coloured with the Spectrum noir 65 and 24 for her coat and 0 for her hat. I have coloured the sky and the ground with my "shimmer" chalks. To finish the colouring, I have used some of my Sakura "gelly roll" pens.

I have put my image on a paper I got in the Xmas Club at TLC, and glued it on a silver paper I bought ages ago and was in my craft box.

The sentiment is also coming from Paulette and the Xmas club.

So here is the digi image for you. Just right click on it and save it. Do not hesitate to show us at TLC, what you have created with the different freebies you have collected.
Your next stop is Marsha

Have a nice day and a gorgeous Blog Hop.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Evening,

Been back since a few days now from my gorgeous trip in UK. Once more Dave has treated me like a Queen....His Queen....And I also met my friends at the NEC. Really good time. Have been busy at work as soon as we came back, and only manage yesterday to make a few cards.

I have decided to keep on Xmas cards, as I am very late....

I have used a vintage Digi image from TLC, that I have printed on glossy photo paper. I have then glued the card on a piece of Core'dinations that you can find in Crafters Companion,.

Here is the sentiment. It is also from TLC, from the Christmas Club. I have cut it with one of the new Dies from Spellbinders, that I bought at the NEC.

I have finished my card with some candy red.

For the other card I made, I have used some digi stamp from Kenny K, that I have coloured with my Spectrum Noir. For the sentiment, I have used one of the Christmas Club from Paulette at TLC. As a backing paper I used some back and white glitter paper, I had in my craft box.
I have to do a lot more, but defo think that I need day with 72 hours in it...Lol!!!

As usual, I love reading your comments, so if you have a few minutes during the week-end, just pop in...

I will enter my cards in:

Xmas before holidays.....

Evening to all,

Have been busy today. Have enjoyed making a few cards before we are going to England for a few days holidays and having time at the NEC.....To buy a few more crafty products.....As if I need some more....!!!!Lol!!!!

Anyway, I have used a few digi and papers from the December Club at TLC; By the way, if you're not sign it, do not hesitate you still have till the 3rd November. I have made the first 2 cards with the same paper, but 2 different version. One with Big trees and the other one with smaller trees.

I find that paper very nice, but I should say that my favourite paper and image is the following one. I made an Easel card with plain cream paper, and add the paper on the top. I have than cut some silver paper with my Dies Lattice from Spellbinders and glued the digi on it. I have finished with a sentiment.
I will be away for a few days, but do not hesitate and leave me some comments, I will pop in even in England....wink!!

Having Fun.....

Evening,

And another day, digging my floor.....Have been working well this morning but this afternoon, I have decided to give it a miss, and have fun making cards. As Mathilde is on holidays, she has helped me and make a few (which as a "bad" mum, I forget to take take pics of.....!!!) I have used one digi and a sentiment from TLC and one paper from the "December Club" from (also....)TLC.

Here is the 1st one:
I made an Easel card and have decided to leave the digi as it is.....Except for the hat, that I have coloured....I couldn't resist it....Lol!!!!! I have cut the image and the sentiment with fancy scissors, and glue the digi on a piece of scrap paper I found in my crafty box. I have a friend who is American, so think I will give it to her.

The 2nd one :

I made this one a "simple" card. The paper is one of the "December Club at TLC and you can find it here. Also, I wish to let you know that if you join the club, we will have extra goodies....Really worth is....!!!!
I have printed the paper on glossy picture paper. I have put some silver peel offs on the top and bottom, and I found those little parcels in my "Xmas crafty box" from last year, and just thought they were going well with the paper. I finished my card with a sentiment and THAT IS IT....

Around the World.

Morning to you,

Another lovely sunny day here. We need rain, but I won't complain that we don't any.....It means we don't have to put the heating on for now....Wink!!

I was at Dave's yesterday and while he was working a bit in the garden, I made a few card. I really wish to share this one with you as I like it a lot.

I have used a TLC sentiment and picture. I have shaped my card and put the sentiment on the "outside". The sentiment has been glued on some gold paper and then I have put it on a margin of a sheet of paper I have printed from "The Royal Horticultural Society" Cd and you can find it at Joanna Sheen store.

In the inside I have done the "opposite", if you seen what I mean.....I put my digi stamp on the paper from "The Royal Horticultural Society" and then put it all on the golden paper. I have print both the sentiment and the digi picture on glossy photo paper.

I will enter my card in the following challenges :
CD Sunday Challenge : Around the World
DYSU : Use your scrap
One Stitch At a Time : Shape up.

And don't forget, I love reading your comments, so please take a minute and leave me one.

New shape

Afternnon to all,

I have tried a new shape on cards for 2 cards I made.

The first one is for a Golden wedding anniversary for friends. I have used an ivory paper and some flower brads to hold it together. On the first part, I used a TLC digi "Learned from the 60's music" that you can find here and on the other page I have used a 3D image of an old couple. I have used some paper as a backround using "The Royal Horticultural Society Cd" from Joanna Sheen store.
I unfortunately miss the picture of the inside, so that's all what you'll have....Wink!!

The second one I made is for a friend birthday in a few days. For this one I have used the new "Sing Out Loud" set from TLC and you can find it here . To decorate my plain white paper I have used some papers that Paulette put on her blog, for autumn falls. I will just add a piece of white paper to be able to write a few words...Big smiles here!!!
And just for you, as you deserve it.....lol!!!! a few others pictures as the card open up.

And here you are, that's it for tonight. Hope you'll like them.

I will enter my card in the followings challenges :
Rainbow Lady's Challenge : "Falling Leaves"
Crafts and Me Challenge : Orange
Gingerloft Challenge : The color Orange

New set !

Evening to all of you,

At Create with TLC, Paulette put a few new sets for sale. You saw "bits" of one of them yesterday, here are 2 cards I made today with others sets.

I made this one with a digi from TLC, that I have coloured. The sky and earth (that you can't really see, unfortunatly...) with my chalks. I have then coloured him with my Spectrum in the following colours, WG1, 04? 175 and for her, the following colours WG1, 24 and 33 for the hat, 38. I add the sentiment from tlc, which is from the "The Eyes have it", and you can buy it here.

For this one, I have been easy....Big smiles. I have used a free digi from Paulette, you can find it on the TLC site. I put it on some paper (also from TLC), and add a sentiment from the "Fabulous Fall" that you can find here.

And that's about it for today. The weather has been too hot to do a lot more today. But am not complaining....Smiles!

Have a nice evening and just pop in at TLC website to find some wonderful freebies or set to buy.

The first one I made is :
I have used one of my digi, that I cut with my Spellbinders and used a coloured card I normally never use. I have punched two of the corners, before I took a piece of "browish" coloured paper.I add two ribbons, a green one to remember the card colour and a brow one to remember the paper. I finished the card with a sentiment and some bows on the ribbons.

I will enter it in the followings challenges :

Just sentiment

For the first time ever, I have ONLY used a few papers and a sentiment to make a card.

I don't feel too good (moraly talking) so I just find this sentiment perfect. It gives me a bit to thought about....And even put a smile on my face when I did the card. as you can imagine, and you would be right....I have used TLC sentiment, that I print on glossy photo paper.

As autumn seems to have begin here, I have used some scrap paper with leaves on and matched it with some plain green paper. But, it was a bit too "plain" for my taste, so I had buttons, in different shapes but in the same tones.

This card is going in the foolowing challenges :
2 sisters challenge : Let's get Sentimental
Bearly-Mine Challenges : Button it Up
Digi Doodle Shop's Best : Autumn colours

Have a nice day, whatever you're doing.

Quick and Easy

Since when can we, and I hope am not the only one on this one...., can do "Quick and Easy"????? That was a bit of a challenge for me....Big smiles!

I have used a digi from Beccy's, that I have coloured with the following Spectrum, 81/82/146/48 and 163. I have then glued it on a fancy oval, and add it to my card, which has been "half" covered with some TLC Vintage paper....And that's it....Lol!!!

I enter it in :
Gingerloft challenge : vintage or distressed
Alphabet Challenge : Q for Quick and Easy

Thanks for stopping here.

Faerie

Good afternoon to all,

after a busy morning dealing with friends' taxes, my mum's bank account and Dave's "new" furniture, I sit down for a minute with a nice cup of tea to "blog" a bit.

I can't remember when and where, but a few weeks ago, I have discovered a very nice blog with Faeries. I finally manage to buy one of their digi. Therefore I, also, decided to use the digi and enter my card in their challenge.

That beauty's name is Isabella and can be find at The Emerald Faerie Garden Shop.

To put her to life, I have used my Spectrum in the following colours : 24/163/91/96/43/38/104 and 100. For the wings, I used my "shimmer" chalks and used the "bright" ones for the grass. I have finished the card with some white pearls, and a sentiment from Paulette. I have put the card on a scrap paper, just to have a little coloured border under, as the card is white.

I will enter my card in the following challenges:
The Emerald Faerie Garden : Pearls (and it's my first challenge with them....But not the last....)
Delightful challenges : Girly girl

Hope you like my card, and don't be shy....Leave a comment. Am always pleased to read them (and need encouragement, right now...)

Silver

Evening to you,

Not really in a "top" mood, as I have a few problem in the house, which means work to be done to put it all right, and money to be spent....And I really could have done without. Anyway, am not here to complain, but to tell you that I have tried to make a few cards to change my mind.

To make this card I have used some papers that I have since a few years and are in my Xmas scrap box...Smiles!!
I put them on a sparkling grey rectangle  card, that I have punched. I have decided to go simple and have only put a sentiment with an "ornement" from Paulette at TLC. I have coloured the ornement with my Spectrum, and add a bit of silver sparkle on it. Am not sure you can really see it.

I enter my card in the following challenges :
DYSU : Silver
Totally Gorjuss : Nothing square about me
Card Makin Mamas : Punchy
Jingle Belles : One digital stamp or element.
the Crazy Challenge : no red or green

It's my first time to "Jingle belles" challenge, but imagine it wont be the last one....

Black and blue

My 2 favourite coulours.....How could I resist to make a card with those two colours.....No chance !!!!!

It took me about 2 minutes to find an idea.....And about 5 minutes to make it....Big smiles!
I have used a plain white card, on which I have put a backing paper from "Enchanted Dreams" from Joanna Sheen. I cut, with my "fancy" scissors, a piece of black paper from my Scrap box.
I then add  a small image from the same CD and a silver sentiment.

And....Nothing else....Why should I ???? I really like it and not sure I will ever send it....But who knows?

I will enter this card to the following challenge:
CD sunday challenge : Black and Blue

Shabby Chic

As I told you earlier, have been a busy bee today....

My friend Karen "introduce" me to a fabulous blog. Heather is a very talented lady who gives you free Digital scrapping product. Of course, it's nice and better to donate her something for her gorgeous work....But that's up to you.

I have used one of her Shabby Chic papers as a backing paper. I found that that cute mice sleeping would go perfectly well with it. I have coloured it with my Promarkers and cut it with my "Label Four" from Spellbinders and put it on a Core'dination pink paper.

For the sentiment I have used one of  Paulette's. I have just add a bit of sparkle with a silver border.
I enter my card in the followings :
Creative Inspiration : Anything goes
I Dit it Creations : Anything goes

Black and Purple

Black!!!!Magic word for me, it's my favourite colour and I really can't resist using it.

I have used a digi stamp I had for a while. I have coloured those gorgeous tulip with my Spectrum in the following colours, 146/84/163 and 175. I cut it with my Spellbinders "Large Octogons", add a black paper and a sentiment from Netty that I have printed on a purple paper. I have used one of my purple card I still have in stock.

I will enter the card in :
Card Makin Mamas : digital

Have a nice evening.

M for "Mulot"

Evening all,

Been a busy day today but.....Still manage to make a few cards. I have written down  ALL the challenges, I would like to make a card for....Ha!Ha!Ha....I will try to make as much as possible but time flies....

One of my favourite one is The CD Sunday Challenge. They always come with gorgeous idea, but this time I was a bit struggled. The Dt show us lovely cards and give me idea, but being a bit stubborn....I had to find another word beginning with a M, as I can have the same than the others....
So I have been for M for "Mulot" (or Mice if you prefer). A "mulot" is a field tiny little Mice.
I  have used JS Cd "Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection", part 1  for the backing paper and for the image. I have used a plain green paper to match and finished by adding a sentiment.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Cd Sunday Challenge : Alphabets - M
Craft and Me Challenge : Add a Heart

Stamp something....Last challenge.

Hi everybody,

It's the last challenge in Stamp something, so I had to make a card for it...Lol!!!

As "Everything goes" for their last challenge, I have decided to make a Birthday card. In one way, it's a birthday for them....The first one of a new life, if i can say so.

I have used a vintage stamp and a French sentiment  from TLC. I cut them both with my Spellbinders "Label Four" Dies and glue them on the biggest one of "Label Four" Dies. I finally put the rose on a cut piece of black card; I cut it with my Spellbinders Dies lattice rectangle.

11th September

10 years ago an awful "accident" arrived in New York at killed a lot of people. For what? Just for God. Not the same than mine, or may be yours but God for them.

It is today time to remember this day and at TLC, Paulette gave us a wonderful Freebie to "work" with. It's also time to do a blog hop, by sending our picture and our blog address to Paulette

Enough talking, and here is my creation.

I have just glued the lovely picture on papers and add a sentiment "remember". Less is more (I think it's what you say in English)

Hope you like it. All my thoughts are going to the families of the people who died on the 11th September 2001.

What's more important than Friends?

Good evening to all,

Friendship is something very important for me and I have always tried to explain Mathilde that you don't have a lot of "real" friends. With the time, I realise that it's true and a hand is enough to count your real friends.
Anyway, it's not the point here....

To make this card I have used a "Swalk" stamp and you can find it here  at Crafters Companion. I have coloured it with my Promarkers, and glued it to a piece of green card cut with my GC. I add a sentiment from Create with TLC, that I have cut with one of my Dies from Spellbibders.

I will enter the card in those challenges :

That's it for today, but still have a few to make for different purposes....So will be back soon.

Vintage

I adore this stamp from Create with TLC, it's a vintage one and I find it represents well France.

When I coloured this stamp, I only had my promarkers.....So that's what I have used. I have used a glitter backing paper to do a tiny little border before I have glued it on a spotted scrap paper. Under the papers and stamp, I have used Totally Gorjuss sketch, and put 3 ribbon to mach the stamp.

Acetate

Hi everybody,

I absolutely adore using acetate. I had this one printed since ages, but never used it. So what a good excuse than a challenge to use it????
I have (again.....) used a Joanna Sheen picture from the royal horticultural society Cd. I have add a french sentiment and flower to finish the card.

I enter this card in the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenge ; Flowers, flowers, flowers
Creative Inspirations ; Acetate

And I will probably use this "template" again....Wink!

Peacock

What can I say?????I don't really know....lol!!! Me.....Out of words.....Unbelievable.....Lol!!!!

To begin with I find it difficult, but after a nice cup of tea and a bit of thinking, I find it was not as difficult as it looks. I have used a Joanna Sheen picture from Jane Netley Matyhew Cd. I have used one of the smallest image, and have glued it to a backing paper I made. How? Easily....!!!! I took a piece of white paper which I have inked in a blue and green shades, then I have embossed it with some 6"x6" embossing template I bought at the NEC. It's a nice one as it has rounds that will remind the fan of the peacock. For the sentiment, I have cut one of Create with TLC sentiment.

I will enter the card in CD Sunday challenge : Be inspired by Peacock.....Bet you never guessed it....Big smile.

"Steampunk Burlesque"

Can anyone tell me how you can resist them? I can't.....Wink!!!! The new digi stamp from Kenny K downloads are just perfect....

Here is the card I made with Eva Pearl, and you can find her by clicking "on her".

I have coloured her with my Spectrum, and have used my GC to cut the stamp. i have used the same Dies to cut the backing paper. I have used a Create with TLC  paper, in the same shade colour. To finish the card, I have decided to put a few gems, and a sentiment.

I will enter the card in kenny K challenge: Vintage/Grunge.

"Chains of love"

Good evening,

What a gorgeous stamp!!!! Am so pleased I bought it. I finally decided to use it today. I have been colouring her a few days ago, but had no time to make any cards. But today, I said Dave "I have to go to mine and work"....Hopefully my "mojo" was with me....Lol!!!!

I have coloured her with my spectrum noir pens. and cut it with my GC. As I have coloured her in pink, I have decided to be a bit romantic, and glued her on pattern paper from Joanna Sheen CD's, "floral fantasy" and you can find it by clicking the link. Then I glued the lot on a pink card.

I have finished the card with some buttons. I have a few on my craft boxes, but was not happy at all. So, as am "mad" with button, I took my sewing boxes and find what I was looking for... Big smiles!!!. And I finished the card with a little pink bow.

I will enter my card in the following challenges:
Crafts and Me  : Buttons and Bows
Aly Sunday Challenge : Add a Bow
I did It Creations : Girly Girls

And, just for fun and pleasure, I also made this version with "Chains of love", coloured once more with my Spectrum Noir pens.

I have embossed a piece of green card with my "Florish Impressability" then glued the stamp and put some "ribbon" I had in my craft box since ages.

Hope you like them, don't hesitate to leave me any comment.
