Robyn's Fetish Challenge # 226 : Card for Men.

Good morning,

Lazy morning today, that's why I am a bit "late" to post..... We are Sunday and it's time for a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge. We are sponsored by Oak Pond Créations, and the winner will be able to choose 3 digital stamps from the store.

When I saw the digis we were able to "play" with, I sort of "fall in love" with ROOSTER...... I immediately had someone in mind for a card. And that person is my daughter's father..... So here the card I made and I will explain you why in a bit.

I have coloured it with my Spectrum Noir in the following shades : 35, 14, 12, 0, 104, 109, 72, 69, 33, 45 and 178. I have cut it with my Spellbinders "Grand scalloped square", and made the card with the same shape, except bigger.

For the sentiment I have used my Clarity stamp "Wheelie Grunge Alphabet Stencil", and you can find it here. I have used Adirondack Ink "Meadow" and a make up sponge to do the letters. For the card itself, I have used Adirondack Ink "Juniper" and a Brush (you can find them here)

The sentiment is a "joke" for my daughter's dad. My mum used to always told him that he was very fit and that he was the cockeral, so he replied her "it's normal that am fir than as A COCKERAL IS NEVER FAT" and that is what I have written on the card.
I have finished it by adding a French sentiment which means Happy Birthday.

Have a nice Sunday .

  2. Laurence, I love it! You made me laugh with your sentiment. I am so glad you told what it meant. I love the rooster. He is pretty the way you colored him. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
