And another nice week-end on. Been for a drink with friends yesterday afternoon, and off to the market with my man this morning before enjoying the pool with my daughter and a tea at some friends later on today.
We are Sunday and it's time for a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge. This week we are sponsored by Whoopsie Daisy and we wish to see WEDDING CARDS. The winner will be able to choose 3 sheets from her store, and you have some great ones.
So here the card I make, and I will explain you everything as it is not a very "conventional" one.
My best friend got married 10 years ago, but she was living with her "boyfriend" since 20 years and they had 2 childs when they finally decided to get married. And white for the bride in France is normally for the "Virgin" (so to speak, as am not sure there are anymore "Virgin" on the wedding day.....Lol!!!). So on the memory of my friends "Big day", I have decided to colour the bride with the same colour than my friend's dress.
I have used my Promarkers in Blush and Pear Green shade, as well as my Spectrum Noir in the following shades : 11-5-91-96-12 and 137. I have than cut it with my Spellbinders "Label 21".
I have used a Brown natural paper and some red one to remind the dress. I have finished my card by putting 2 roses and a French sentiment, which means "Congratulation".
And as I really like the other bride which was on the same sheet, just for fun, I have made the following card.
This one has been coloured with my Spectrum Noir and Promarkers. I have cut it with "Floral Oval" from Spellbinders, and the backing paper has been embossed with "Elegance", also from Spellbinders.
I had a material rose and the same sentiment than earlier. Hope you like them both, even the "non-conventional" one.
Have a great Sunday and come and join us in the fun.
Stunning creations, wonderful inspiration for our challenge this week at Robyn's Fetish Challenges.
ReplyDeleteYou have made two wonderful cards. The red on the first bride is beautiful and I love the purple one.
